Reggae Boyz and Girlz head for Brazil

25 national footballers are scheduled to depart the island this afternoon for a two-week training camp in Brazil.

The players will depart on two flights, the first of which is scheduled to depart from the Norman Manley International Airport at 1.40 pm and the other at 4.30 pm.

16 of the players who are departing today are members of the Senior Women squad, while the others are local-based Reggae Boyz.

Another set of players will leave tomorrow.

Technical Director, Rene Simoes named 24 males and 19 females for the training camp.

The female team is preparing for the Women’s Olympic CONCACAF Qualifiers in April in Mexico, while the Reggae Boyz are preparing for the 2010 World Cup qualifying Series, which begins on June 14.
