India win Youth World Cup

India defeated South Africa by 12 runs yesterday to win the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in a rain-hit final in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.



South Africa bowled out India for only 159 in 45.4 with Tanmay Srivastava top scoring with 46.



South Africa set 116 to win in 25 overs under the Duckworth-Lewis system. They finished at 103 for eight, after struggling at 11 for three.



Ajitesh Argal, Ravindra Jadeja and Siddarth Kaul got two wickets each for India.



Reeza Hendricks was the top scorer for South Africa with 35 from 43 balls, and captain Wayne Parnell got 29.
