South Africa whitewash Bangladesh

South Africa took almost an hour on today’s fourth day of the second Test to complete victory by an innings and 205 runs against Bangladesh.

South Africa sealed a 2-0 whitewash against the host country.

Resuming this morning on 54 for four, Bangladesh was dismissed for 119 in its second innings, chasing a victory target of 583.

The home team was forced to follow-on after it managed to amass 259 in response to South Africa’s first innings of 583 for seven declared.

Shahriar Nafees top scored for Bangladesh with 31 runs against the bowling of Robin Peterson 5 for 33 and Dale Steyn three for 35.
