Teenager stabbed to death

A teenager is dead and another in police custody following a stabbing incident in St. Ann’s Bay, St. Ann yesterday evening.

Dead is Tavon Sewell, 16, of Charles Town, St. Ann’s Bay, while in police custody is a 14 year old boy whose name is being withheld.

According to the police, the two boys were playing football at the Windsor Heights playfield in the parish when a fight broke out between the two.

A knife was reportedly used to stab Sewell.

He was rushed to the St. Ann’s Bay hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
