JA surfers head to Peru

Jamaica’s master surfers will attempt to defend the country’s ninth place at the 2008 International Surfing Association’s Masters Championships.

The event will take place in the cold waters of the South Pacific at Punta Rocas, Peru from March 30 to April 6.

This year the event will see competition in five divisions.

Team Jamaica consists of Drum Drummond, Eugene Miller, Michael Mair, Nigel Benjamin, Billy Wilmot, Pierre Diaz, Terrence Muschett and Jacqiann Lawton.
