STETHS all-rounder to lead CLICO tournament

All-rounder Donavan Nelson of St. Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) will lead Jamaica in the 2008 CLICO-sponsored West Indies Under 15 cricket tournament in Dominica this month.

Nelson is one of three players who represented Jamaica in the tournament last year. John Campbell of Tacky High and Jonathan Solomon of Manchester High are also returning.

Jamaica will start against the Leeward Islands on Monday, March 17 at Portsmouth Ground. The tournament bowls off on March 15 and continues until March 24.

Terrence Corke is the team’s coach and Ephraim McLeod is manager.

Trinidad and Tobago won the 2007 tournament, while Jamaica placed third.
