St. Andrew defeat Papine

St. Andrew High defeated defending champions Papine 1-0 yesterday to win the Girls’ Under-19 final of the ISSA/Jamaica Hockey Federation competition.

Keisha Maitland scored the lone goal in the 10th minute.

Alpha won the third place play-off following a 2-1 victory over Excelsior.

The games were played at the Mona Astro Turf.

The boys’ final featuring Munro College against Wolmers will take place tomorrow, beginning at 3.30pm.
