Police in St. Vincent are investigating the origin of a bomb threat issued at the Milton Cato Memorial hospital yesterday.

Two calls were reportedly made to the hospital, one claiming that a bomb was planted on the compound and another saying that the bomb will explode in an hour.

Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves condemned the actions of those involved.

He said 130 patients had to be evacuated from the hospital and placed at a nearby park.

He said all steps would be taken to trace the calls.
