The police have released the names of four men they believe are linked to the upsurge of violence in the August Town area of St. Andrew.

The men are Bucky Marshall, Dennis ‘Heavy Hand’Levy, Yoneek ‘Slim Shady’ Ellis and another man identified only as ‘Tow Tow’.

The police said the men should visit the Half Way Tree police or call Deputy Superintendent McArthur Sutherland at 926-8186 or 926-2551 so they can be questioned.

The August Town community remained tense following gunfire in African Gardens and Jungle 12 yesterday.

The gunfire followed Tuesday’s murder of two men in August Town, which has pushed to four the number of homicides since Friday.

Yesterday, the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) pulled its buses from Bryce Hill Road, which leads to August Town.

A joint police/military team are patrolling the troubled area.
