The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has cancelled the planned tour match between the West Indies ‘A’ team and the Sri Lankans.

The match was slated for March 29 to 31 at Shaw Park in Trinidad.

A release from the WICB only stated that the match was cancelled because of flight problems.

The Sri Lankan team will only do net practice at Shaw Park in preparation for the second Test, which begins in Port-of-Spain next Thursday.

Sri Lanka have taken an unbeatable 1-0 lead in the two-match series after beating West Indies by 121 runs in Guyana yesterday.

It was Sri Lanka first Test win in the Caribbean.
