A seven-member jury has freed three men from Annotto Bay, St. Mary of wounding Christopher Lord on September 30, 2003.

They are Bryan Rumble, 45, mason, Keshf Richards, 28, plumber, and Juhave Robinson, 21, cookshop assistant.

Evidence was given at the trial in the Home Circuit yesterday, that two of the men held Lord while Robinson used a knife to slash him twice in the face.

Lord told the court that on the day of the incident, he went to question one of the accused men about an altercation in Annotto Bay.

He admitted under cross-examination that on the day of the incident he was armed with a firearm.

In their defence, the men said they did not attack Lord.

The jury retired for three hours before freeing the men.
