Women killed at home

The police are still trying to determine the circumstances which led to the

deaths of two women, whose bodies were found at their houses in St.

Catherine and Kingston yesterday.

The body of Pauline Duncan-Lewis, 54, was reportedly found at her house in Hampton Green, Spanish Town around 12.30 p.m.

The police said Mrs. Duncan-Lewis’ body was found with the throat slashed by neighbours who had gone to visit her.

Several hours later, Ruby Barnes, 47, was shot dead at her house at Munster Road, Kingston 3.

The police said around 7.30 last night, Ms. Barnes who operates a shop at her house, was shot by a gunman who ordered an item from her.
