Gas prices hike

Motorists can expect to see an increase in the prices of petroleum products effective today.



The Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (Petrojam) said the prices of unleaded 87 and 90-octane gasoline have been increased by $0.97 per litre.



A litre of unleaded 87 and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $62.49 and $63.93 respectively.



Automotive diesel will increase by $0.74 and will be sold $67.45 per litre.



A litre of kerosene has been increased by $1.18 and is to be sold for $68.31.



The price of cooking gas goes down by $0.15 and will be sold for $35.43 per litre.



As is customary, retailers will add their respective mark ups to the announced prices.
