Kingston double murder

The police have still not established a motive for the murder of two men on Omara Road in Kingston 13 yesterday evening.

They have been identified as Ainsley ‘Cat’ Coore, 39, and Christopher Lyons, 36, both of Scarborough, Ontario in Canada.

The men were reportedly in the island on vacation.

According to the police, around 5.50 p.m. yesterday, the men were approached by two gunmen after leaving their vehicle.

The men reportedly ran but were chased and shot.

The police said Coore died immediately, while Lyons died at the Kingston Public Hospital.

The Hunts Bay police are seeking the help of the public in locating a man known only as Nijah, whom they believe can assist in the investigations.

The Hunts Bay police are also trying to ascertain why Marlon Brown, 24, was killed along Waltham Park Road, Kingston 13 this morning.

Another man was also injured during the incident.

According to police reports, the men were at a house on Waltham Park Road around 7 a.m. when two gunmen shot them.

Brown reportedly died on the spot, while the injured man was taken to hospital.
