Poisonous toy harms children

The toy labeled Fart Bomb is packaged in an aluminum foil and carries a warning that it should not be opened or used by children under seven years old.

The toy package was reportedly tampered with by a child, which caused the dangerous chemical inside to escape.

The children who came in contact with the toy had to be treated at hospital for vomiting and diahorrea.

The Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC) said the toy is dangerous and that consumers should be on the look out for the toy.

The CAC said the toy was bought by a vendor in Portland and was being sold in Buff Bay at the time of the incident.

It said although the toy carries a warning on the label, no toy should contain harmful chemicals.

According to the CAC, the toy was recalled in Hong Kong in December 2004, after it was found to cause vomiting, nausea, headache, and eye irritation.

The CAC said consumers who come across the stink bomb should contact its offices, so appropriate action can be taken to have the toy removed.
