NCB Black win Polo tournament

NCB Black edged NCB Blue 6-5 to win the annual NCB Capital Markets Limited High Goal Challenge Polo tournament at the Kingston Polo Club on Sunday.



The teams were locked 5-5 in the fourth and final chukka with only a minute remaining on the clock, before NCB Black gained the winner 30 seconds from time.



In the consolation final, NCB Gold beat NCB White 6 to 4-and-a-half with two goals each from Kurt Chin and the Argentineans professionals Tomas Martinez and Jose Lartirigoyen.



Argentinean Juan Humbert scored three times for the losers.



The tournament rated at 14 goals was the highest handicap competition in Jamaica’s Polo.
