Jamaica defeat Cayman Islands

Jamaica yesterday defeated Cayman Islands 12-7 to stay in contention to retain the North American West Indies Rugby Association’s Women’s 15s Championships at the National Park in Guyana.

The Jamaicans are now face with a must win situation against tournament favourites Guyana on Saturday’s to keep their slim hope alive of retaining the title.

However, the Caymans Islands must defeat Trinidad and Tobago in the opening game on Saturday to keep Jamaica’s slim hope alive.

Both Guyana and T&T have five points, two ahead of Jamaica.

Jamaica lost its opening game 12-10 to T&T on Monday.
