A 40 year old woman is now at the Nain Police lock-up in St. Elizabeth in connection with Thursday’s stabbing death of her 60 year old common law husband.

The woman allegedly stabbed Keble Dixon, who was employed as a watchman at the Holland Estate in the parish, during a financial dispute.

He was reportedly taken to the Black River Hospital and was later transferred to the Kingston Public Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

The police said the woman would be charged sometime this week.
