Jazz jams traffic in Trelawny

FLORENCE HALL, Trelawny:
Chaos is now reigning along the roadway leading to the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium as indisciplined motorists have transformed the four-lane dual carriage way into one-way leading to the stadium where mega star Celine Dion is slated to perform shortly.
With very little police presence on the road, the erratic motorists have simply become a law onto themselves reigning down chaos along the roadway from the Martha Brae overhead crossing near William Knibb High School to the entrance to the venue.
Some motorists have pulled off the road, creating addition confusion.
For those willing to try to endure the hassle, the four mile stretch of roadway into the stadium took some motorists as much as three hours.
Tonight’s staging of the festival, which has Jully Black, Tami Chynn & Tessanne Chin, Richie Stephens and Gentleman as the supporting cast to Celine Dion, is expected to attract a record crowd.
