One of eight men who were listed as "person of interest" by the police has been taken into custody.

The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) reported a short while ago that 31-year-old Chevaughn Robinson, otherwise called ‘Shawn Robinson’ and ‘Flaco’, of Grants Pen Avenue, Kingston 8 was apprehended yesterday.

The other men being sought include: Omar Orlando Wright, also called ‘Romey’; Dwight Henry, also called ‘Shortman”; Kemar Stewart, also called ‘Shanty’, Hanif Blake, also called ‘Putta’, all of the Grants Pen Road area.

The others are 19-year-old Damion Lewis, of Shortwood in St Andrew; Ulando Hall, also called ‘Stray D’ of Tavern Drive in Papine and Kevaughn Nelson, also called ‘Juvenile’ of Boysie Lane in Kingston.

The police say the men were listed as 'persons of interest' after attempts to contact them proved futile and adds that they are required to report to the Constant Spring Police Station by 2 p.m. on Monday.

Persons with information on their whereabouts are being asked to contact the Constant Spring police.
