Westmoreland road repair project begins

The National Works Agency (NWA), has started a $9 million road rehabilitation project along the Barham to Strawberry roadway in Westmoreland.



According to the NWA, the project involves the rehabilitation of 3.6 kilometres of roadway.



The NWA says project includes bushing, drain cleaning, and the patching of potholes.



The project also involves repairs to a collapsed section of a bridge wing wall.



Motorists are being advised to obey the related warning signs and the instructions of flag persons while roadway upgrade is in progress.
