Jamaica’s senior cricket coach, Junior Bennett, said he is happy with the batsmen performance going into the opening game of the 2008 Carib Beer Series.

David Bernard Junior and Carlton Baugh each recorded a century in Jamaica’s final three-day practice match at Kensington Park yesterday.

West Indies batsman, Wavell Hinds, fell five runs short of a century with 95.

The final 14-man squad will be named on Wednesday evening, following a training session.

Jamaica will open the Carib Beer campaign against the Leeward Islands on Friday at Sabina Park.
