Wolmer's win Walker Cup KO title

Wolmer's Boys' won the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA)/Gatorade/Digicel Walker Cup KO final, defeating Jamaica 1-0 in the football match at the National Stadium on Saturday.



Demar Rose scored the title-deciding goal at the 15th minute. He netted a header off Kamar Osbourne's cross.



Both teams ended the contest with 10 players. Jamaica College's captain, Junior Flemming, saw a straight red at the 65th minute. Wolmer's national Under-20 striker, Jason Wright, was given a straight red card for striking JC's Alando Brown in the 83rd minute.



Four minutes were added for stoppages.



The game will be followed by the Manning Cup final between title-holders St George's College and first-time finalists Hydel High.
