Tsetsi Davis joins Richard Reittie in Contender's semi-finals

Crowd favourite Tsetsi Davis won a unanimous decision over Derrick Spencer last night to move into the semifinals of the 2013 Wray & Nephew Contender Boxing Series.



The six-round bout took place at the Chinese Benevolent Association auditorium.



Davis has now joined Canada-based Richard Reittie in the semi-finals.



Sixteen boxers started the series on March 7.



The remainders are vying for the Wray & Nephew Middleweight Contender title and a first prize of a $1 million.



The runner-up in the competition gets $500,000, third place $250,000 and fourth $200,000.



The other quarter-finalists are Devon Moncrieffe, Kevin Hylton, Richard Holmes and Ramel Lewis.
