ATL FRAUD CASE: Attorney wants gag order on Jamaica Observer
Attorney-at-law Valerie Neita Robertson has applied for a gag order on the Jamaica Observer in relation to the ATL Pension Fund fraud trial.
"They have an interest to serve in this case," said Neita Robertson, as she complained to presiding magistrate Lorna Shelly Williams about the newspaper's coverage of the trial.
"Calling me high-priced lawyer?" she continued, in reference to an article the newspaper published today.
"I'm offended. They don't know the amount of free work I do," said Neita Robertson.
Shelly-Williams is to rule on the application.
