The Metrological Service says Jamaicans can expect more rainfall today as the country continues to be affected by a Trough.

The Met Office says the trough has produced scattered showers and thunderstorms in sections of all parishes especially those in the north.

The agency says the conditions are to persist today.

Fishers and other marine interests, especially those over northern waters are advised to exercise caution as strong, gusty winds could be experience in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.

The Met Service says conditions are expected to improve tomorrow as the Trough moves away from the island.
