A public forum has been scheduled for this week to discuss changes to the Noise Abatement Act, the proposed introduction of an entertainment practitioner’s registry and an event rating system.
The public consultation being organised by the ministries of national security and entertainment is scheduled to take place at the Jamaica Conference Centre on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Tourism and Entertainment says stakeholder groups are also invited to make presentations on the practitioner’s registry and the event rating system.
