The Jamaica Labour Party activist linked to last month’s Swiss Stores robbery in downtown Kingston is to return to court today when an application for bail is expected to be filed.

Kayon ‘Treasure’ Campbell is among three persons charged in relation to the incident.

Campbell, who is charged with robbery with aggravation, illegal possession of firearm and conspiracy to commit robbery, was remanded when he last appeared in court on May 3.

However, businessman Donald Ho, who is also linked to the incident, was granted $500,000 bail with one surety.

Ho is charged with receiving stolen goods and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition and is scheduled to return to court on May 31.

A third accused, St Catherine resident Norman Robertson was not brought to court at the last mention date.

The men have been in custody since April 18, following an operation by the Flying Squad.

Last month, the Swiss Store was robbed of high-end watches and other items reportedly valued at more than $7 million.

The police have since recovered the stolen watches.
