Hansle Parchment to renew rivalry with Merritt

Jamaica’s London 2012 Olympic 110-metre bronze medallist Hansle Parchment will renew rivalry with the American pair of Aris Merritt and Jason Richardson at the 39th Prefontaine Classic on June 1 in Eugene.
The Prefontaine Classic is part of the Diamond League series.
The 22-year-old Parchment set a Jamaican record of 13.12 seconds to earn the Olympic bronze medal in London.
Another Jamaican, Andrew Riley is also down to compete. Riley made history last year, becoming the first man to win the NCAA 100-metre and 110-metre hurdles in the same year.
Meritt claimed the London Olympic gold medal in 12.92 seconds and smashed the world record with 12.80 at the Diamond League final in Brussels.
Richardson, finished runner-up to Merritt at the London 2012 Olympics.
The line-up also includes American David Oliver, Russia’s Sergey Shubenkov and Cuban talent Orlando Ortega.
