The hard-hitting Devon Moncrieffe and Richard Holmes will face off tonight in the last quarterfinal bout of the 2013 Wray & Nephew Contender Boxing Series.

The six-round contest will take place at the Chinese Benevolent Association auditorium.

The bout is scheduled to start 9:30 following two amateur fights.

Moncrieffe, the beaten finalist in the inaugural season in 2011, is the top seed for the 2013 title.

Holmes, who qualified for the quarterfinals following a technical knockout victory over Lloyd Smith, was a semi-finalist last year.

The winners of tonight’s fight will joined Ramel ‘Sub Zero’ Lewis, Tsetsi Davis and Canada-based Richard Reittie in the semi-finals.

Sixteen boxers started the series on March 7.

The remainders are vying for the Wray & Nephew Middleweight Contender title and a first prize of a $1 million.

The runner-up in the competition gets $500,000, third place $250,000 and fourth $200,000.
