Alleged CASE arsonist for court today

The College of Agriculture Science and Education (CASE) student accused of setting fire to a section of the school is scheduled to return to court today.

Nineteen-year-old Romario Bacchus was granted $400,000 bail when he last appeared in the Port Antonio Resident Magistrate’s Court on March 27.

Bacchus was charged with four counts of attempted murder and arson, after he allegedly set fire to two rooms on the male dormitory at the Portland-based institution on March 20.

Four students were injured in the incident.
