PNP regional councils meet to discuss growth, development agenda

The Regional Executive Councils of the governing People’s National Party (PNP) are scheduled to meet today.



The PNP says the meetings will include a workshop organized by its Political Education Commission to engage members on the Growth and Development Agenda being pursued by the Portia Simpson Miller Administration.



The Political Education Commission is chaired by Senator Floyd Morris, who was recently elected President of the Senate.



The meetings are scheduled to begin at 10 o’clock in the morning.



Region one will meet at Aabuthnott Gallimore High School; region two at Annotto Bay High School; region four at Crescent All Age School; region five at Bull Savannah Primary and region six at Knockalva High School.

No meeting has been scheduled for region three as its chairman, Energy Minister Phillip Paulwell, is overseas on government business.
