The West Indies cricketers, who arrived in the United Kingdom yesterday for the Champions Trophy, will begin the final leg of their preparation today.

The squad will have its first training session this morning at the SWALEC Stadium in Welsh.

Captain Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and mystery off-spinner Sunil Narine will join the squad this week.

Bravo and Pollard were involved in the Indian Premier League final yesterday, while Narine played in the final of the national Twenty20 Championship in Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday night.

West Indies are scheduled to play two official warm-up matches, against Australia on Saturday and Sri Lanka three days later in Birmingham.

They will open their campaign in Group B of the competition against Pakistan on June 6 at the Oval in London.

West Indies will also face reigning World champions India and South Africa, in the preliminary round.
