Man held in connection with Clarendon arson attack

One man has been taken into custody in relation to a suspected case of arson in Rhymesberry, Clarendon yesterday.



The police say the man’s identity is being withheld pending further investigations.



Reports from the Four Paths Police are that residents saw fire coming from a section of the house and alerted them and the fire department.



The police say firefighters from the May Pen Fire Station responded and extinguished the blaze.



Loss is estimated at $700,000.
