Constables in Vanessa Kirkland case granted bail
The three constables implicated in the fatal shooting of Vanessa Kirkland and the injury of six other civilians have each been granted bail in the sum of $500,000.
Constables Andrewain Smith, Durvin Hayles and Anna-Kay Bailey have been charged with murder and wounding with intent in relation to the March 20, 2012 shooting.
The constables, who appeared in the Home Circuit Court today were also ordered to surrender their travel documents and to report to the nearest police station twice each week.
Stop orders were also placed on them at all ports.
They are scheduled to return to court on June 14.
