BASKETBALL: San Antonio heading to NBA finals

The San Antonio Spurs are heading back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007 in search of a fifth championship since 1999.



They qualified for the finals after beating the Memphis Grizzlies 93-86 in Game 4 last night for a 4-0 sweep of the Western Conference finals.



The game was played in Memphis.



Tony Parker led the victory charge with a game-high 37 points and six assists.



Quincy Pondexter had 22 points for the Memphis Grizzlies.



The Spurs now await the winner of the Eastern Conference finals between defending champions Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers with Jamaican, Roy Hibbert.



Miami lead that series 2-1 going into Game 4 tonight in Indianapolis.
