West Indies coach Ottis Gibson has picked hosts England as the team to beat in this year's Champions Trophy.

Gibson says the conditions at this time will suit the host country.

The tournament will take place from June 6-23.

West Indies, who won the Champions Trophy the last time it was held in England in 2004, square off against Pakistan in their first match at The Oval.

Both teams are drawn in Group B alongside India and South Africa.

West Indies are scheduled to play two official warm-up matches, against Australia on Saturday and Sri Lanka three days later in Birmingham.
