Decomposing body of grade three student found in St Catherine

Investigators were this morning called to a crime scene along March Pen Road in St Catherine where a body believed to be that of a missing eight-year-old was found.




Tamera Laing, who is a grade three student of McCauley’s Primary School in St Catherine has been missing since Saturday.



The police were called to an area of March Pen Road call ‘Africa’ after a man made the discovery.



The police say the body had already started decomposing.



Teachers and students at the McCauley's Primary were grief-stricken when The Gleaner/Power 106 news centre visited this morning.



Principal, Claudia Byer said counselling is being arranged for the staff and students.
