BASKETBALL: Miami Heat take 3-2 lead over Indiana

Jamaican center Roy Hibbert finished with 22 points, but Indiana Pacers were beaten 90-79 by defending champions Miami Heat in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals last night in Miami.



With the victory, Miami Heat take a 3-2 lead in the seven-match series.



The series heads back to Indiana tomorrow for Game 6.



Paul George scored a team-high 27 points along with 11 rebounds for Indiana, while David West supported with 17.



Lebron James led Miami to the victory with a game-high 30 points.



Miami trailed most of the game before taking control in the third quarter where James scored 16 of his 30 points. He also had eight rebounds and six assists.



The winner of the series will meet the Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs in the NBA finals starting on June 6.
