Hall: JTA being undermined

Published:Saturday | June 1, 2013 | 12:34 PM

JTA President Clayton Hall is charging that there are persons trying to undermine the association.

Hall, who was speaking at the same function in St Ann, said there are persons trying to devise schemes that will serve to divide and conquer the JTA.

He did not indicate who was behind these schemes, but said pronouncements by Education Minister Ronald Thwaites were coordinated to mislead the public.

However, Hall insists that these attempts will not work and likened the proposed removal of the professional development facility for teachers to removing the engine from a car that is not working well.
