The world’s fastest man and six-time Olympic gold medallist, Usain Bolt, is set to get the star treatment at the August 10-18 staging of the 2013 IAAF World Championships in Moscow.

In a report on organisers website mos2013.org, the head of the accommodation department at the Directorate for Sports and Entertainment events of Moscow, Anna Polteva, said that Bolt would be given a single room at the teams' hotel, if needed.

"The IAAF advised us to make sure the Jamaican team would have the best conditions, as Usain Bolt is a member of the team.

“And if the team expresses a wish to get a single room for him, we can do that", explained Polteva.

Usually the athletes live in twin rooms.

Two-hundred-and-four national teams are expected to bring 1,408 male and 1,107 female athletes to Moscow this summer.
