The National Works Agency (NWA) is to undertake rehabilitation work on the Brunswick Avenue to Dam Head Roadway in St Catherine.

NWA Senior Communications Manager Colin Morrison says work on the 2.5 kilometre roadway will begin at the end of June, and is expected to last about two months.

He says special arrangements will be put in place to facilitate a smooth flow of traffic on the busy thoroughfare.

Morrison says the rehabilitation work will includes minor drainage repairs, removal of soft spots, milling of the road surface, and the overlaying of asphaltic concrete.

He says the project will cost under $40 million.
