Florida braces for Tropical Storm Andrea
Tropical storm warnings and watches have been issued for parts of Florida as the US State braces for the passage of Tropical Storm Andrea.
Tropical Storm Andrea, the first storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, formed in the Gulf of Mexico yesterday.
Showers and windy conditions have been forecast for today and tomorrow.
Tropical Storm Andrea is packing maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour and is moving towards the north.
However, the storm is not expected to strengthen during the next 48 hours.
It is not considered a threat to Jamaica.
