CRICKET: Sri Lanka 'A' piled on the pressure on WI 'A'

Sri Lanka ‘A’ have taken firm control of the opening four-day Test against West Indies ‘A’ reaching 451 for eight just after the lunch interval on day two.

The visitors were 310 for five overnight.

The batsmen at the crease are – Chathuranga de Silva on 102, the second century of the game, and Suranga Lakmal on 21.

Test opener Dimuth Karunaratne recorded the other century of the match.

He scored 101 on yesterday’s opening day.

The two teams are contesting a seven-match series.

The series comprises two four-day test matches, two Twenty20 games and three One-Day Internationals.
