Usain Bolt's father robbed

Wellesley Bolt, the father of sprinting legend Usain Bolt, was reportedly robbed in Falmouth this morning of just under half-a-million dollars cash.




The money was stolen from his Toyota pick-up truck which was parked in the vicinity of the Falmouth Market at about 10 a.m.



The money was stolen minutes after a bank transaction, it is believed that he was watched and trailed to the vehicle where the money was taken.



Entry to the vehicle was gained by breaking the window on the driver's side.



The matter has been reported to the Falmouth Police.
