CRICKET: Bravo says West Indies ready for India

West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo says the Caribbean players are confident of beating world champions India when they meet in a Group B clash in the ICC Champions Trophy tomorrow morning.

Both teams have won their opening fixtures, with India beating South Africa by 26 runs last Thursday and West Indies edging Pakistan by two wickets in a low-scoring thriller at the Oval on Friday.

The Windies will return to South London venue in search of yet another victory and Bravo says his side was confident of turning back the powerful Indians.

Bravo says it will be a tough game as they will be up against a team that has a strong batting line-up.

However, Bravo says the West Indies have the right bowlers, who can control their batting.

The West Indies will hold a full training session this afternoon.
