CRICKET: West Indies 'A', Sri Lanka 'A' face off again
The second and final four-day Test between West Indies ‘A’ and Sri Lanka ‘A’ begins this morning at 10 a.m. at the Arnos Vale Multiplex in St Vincent.
The first Test ended in a high-scoring draw in St Kitts and produced six centurions.
The West Indies ‘A’ first innings produced three centuries.
Left-handed batsman Leon Johnson scored 144, Kirk Edwards stroked 190 and Assad Fudadin hit 145 in West Indies ‘A’ first innings total of 636 for eight declared.
They were replying to Sri Lanka’s first innings score of 472 in which Test opener Dimuth Karunaratne scored 101 and Chathuranga de Silva 109.
Karunaratne hit a second century when Sri Lanka ‘A’ batted a second time.
Jamaica’s spinner Nikita Miller took a six-wicket haul in the first innings.
