President of the Jamaica Agriculture Society Senator Norman Grant says the 64th staging of the Denbigh Agricultural Show in Clarendon is set to cost $60 million an increase of $20 million over last year.

He made the announcement during yesterday’s launch of the show in White Marl St Catherine.

Senator Grant is hoping that the increased cost will be covered through sponsorship, which he has described as encouraging.

Jamaica Broilers has already committed $15 million towards the agricultural show.

This year’s show will be held under the theme Eat what you grow, grow what you eat.
