A man was yesterday freed of gun-related charges during his appearance in the High Court Division of the Gun Court in St Elizabeth.

Twenty-six-year-old David Reynolds, of Cungo Hole in St Elizabeth had been charged with illegal possession of a firearm and assault.

Reynolds' uncle John Lloyd Jones had alleged that on August 25, 2012, his nephew pointed a gun in his face during a domestic dispute.

Attorney-at-Law, Yushaine Morgan, said Reynolds was freed by Justice Paulette Williams as she said there were serious inconsistencies with the complainant's evidence when compared to the statement he had previously given to the police.
