One of the three men now before the courts for the murder of attorney-at-law Clover Graham has escaped police custody.

The case against Simeon Lewis, Quron Patterson and Shannon Campbell was called up in the Home Circuit Court this morning.

Campbell was absent from court and when enquiries were made police investigators informed that he had escaped custody.

It was not disclosed when Campbell escaped or the facility at which he was being kept.

However, the police said efforts are being made to recapture him.

The case against Lewis and Patterson could not proceed as the court was told that fingerprint material was outstanding.

They were further remanded to July 19 when the case will be mentioned.

The men have been in custody since last October.

In addition to murder, they are also charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Graham’s body was found in Caymanas, St Catherine, on August 19.
